It has been wonderful to be back in chicago the past few days. The brothers are all doing well, busy with work and school. I have been staying with Bryan and Stacey in their cute apartment on the northside of Chicago... just a few blocks from the Erickson's and scottie as well as neal. Yesterday I went to Oak Park to meet up with friends from high school, Courtney Dohman and Kate Dunne. It was fun to catch up with both and hear the details of their lives. Courtney is getting married in June (the 19th) and Kate is due with a bambino May (the 23rd). Kate is an awesome source of info as she is just a little ahead of me pregnancy wise, coupled with the fact that she is a nurse who works with only women... It was nice to be encouraged in the idea to try to have the baby with no drugs. ( As she plans to do as well). Kate and her husband are also not finding out the sex of their baby. And we have decided that we may need to go into business together to design some clothes that are not gender specific... CRAZY!!! It feels like it is nearly impossible to find clothes that are not pink or blue. Hmm... food for thought. In all my free time right?

ReplyDeleteA good book to read about having a baby drug free is "Natural Childbirth The Bradley Way". Or "Husband Coached Childbirth." Both were great and really helped me endure the pains of delivering without drugs and all done in the comfort of my home. Let me know if you have questions! Love you!
